The Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) ministry enables children to participate in the formal worship experience, to nourish and guide their spiritual growth and to immerse them in the Word of God in ways that are understandable to them. All children, ages 4 years old to 1st Grade, are welcome to participate. The children are dismissed from Mass during the Liturgy of the Word. They are escorted to the chapel, assisted by volunteers. They will hear the Word from the Children’s Lectionary. The lead catechist guides the children to an understanding of the Gospel that they can embrace. The children will return to their parents at the offertory. We offer this opportunity during the Saturday Vigil at 5:00 PM; Sunday at 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM. The CLOW schedule follows the PSR class schedule, located under PSR on this website. Once children have received their First Communion, they should remain in the sanctuary.

Please call your PSR Coordinators if you would like to be part of the volunteer team of presenters. We are in need of additional adult volunteers at the Saturday 5:00 and Sunday 10:45 masses. Materials for presentations on the Gospel are provided for minimal preparation time. Teams rotate for a commitment of about once a month.
