Walking with Purpose

September 10, 2019

In a world where women are measured by their beauty, achievements, and possessions, wouldn’t it be nice to find a place where you could just be valued for who you are? Come and drop your burdens, then open your heart so it can be refreshed and strengthened. Come and be part of the unique study which enables women of all ages to know Christ through Scripture. Walking with Purpose reaches out to women who desire to grow in their faith using a Scripture-based program that is fresh, relevant, and focused on growing in knowledge and wisdom without being overly academic.

Opening Your Heart:

22 week study including (6) Connect Coffees.  This is a foundational study, and one that WWP National suggests each woman takes….It asks the questions – “Who is Jesus Christ?”  “Why is Jesus interested in my friendship?” Talks about the power of prayer, of Grace, the Holy Spirit, the Bible and the Sacraments of Confession and the Eucharist.  The Connect Coffees cover areas of:  Priorities in our Lives, Marriage, and Children.  WWP National encourages each parish to offer this each year for new participants.

Touching the Divine:

22 week study including (6) Connect Coffees.  This is a study of the Gospel of John.  It draws us into a deeper relationship with Jesus as we reflect on Christ’s personality.  Knowing Him more intimately will increase our love for Him.  St. John referred to himself as “the disciple whom Jesus loved.”  St. John will teach us how much Christ loves us and how His love is the true satisfaction of our souls.

Grounded in Hope:

17 week study including (5) Connect Coffees.  The newest study based on the book of Hebrews that has just been released!  In a world where levels of despair, addiction and suicide are rising, we need more than cliches or positive thinking.  This study will help you encounter Jesus in such a powerful, comforting, and stabilizing way that He can become your lifeline.  Hebrews presents the greatness of Christ as no other New Testament writer does, and beholding Him will transform you.
