Please be advised that our entire parking lot will be resurfaced beginning the week of JULY 20th and is expected to be completed by JULY 28th, weather permitting.
To ensure the work can be completed safely and efficiently, all vehicles must be cleared from certain areas on certain days for the work to be done. This will allow available space for parking for our parishioners. Parking lot access will be limited or unavailable in designated areas on particular days for parishioners to still have safe access for parking. Please follow all posted signs and barricades. Use caution when walking near construction zones.
The paving sequence:
Days 1 & 2 : We will begin with the deep repairs (Red areas)…starting at Repair #1 and working our ways to Repair #4 (keeping in mind the timing of daily Mass. After removal & replacement of these 4 areas, we will begin the parking lot milling process at the street entrance of the East driveway (Yellow area) and continue into the yellow area of the parking lot. Some of the yellow area asphalt paving will be installed on Day #1…with the remaining on Day #2.
Days 3 & 4: Both areas to be milled…or previously milled the day(s) prior. Blue area will be Day #3 paving….Green area (Entrance Drive and main drive) will be day #4 paving from 10:00am until 5:00pm with complete shutdown of the area…with the exception of leaving a path of travel for pedestrian foot traffic from the parking lot to the main building at all times. Depending on previous day(s) production, we may elect to perform work in areas 5 & 6 until the 10:00am start time.
Days 5 & 6: By this time we should be out of the way of all main parking lot & entrance driveways…and church operations should be 80 to 90 percent normal. Day #5 will be paving of the Pink area & Day #6 of the White area…(All milling to have taken place prior to)
