For more than two decades, Saint Brigid Catholic Church has served the spiritual needs of Catholics in the North Atlanta area. We have provided a spiritual home where parishioners can find fellowship in Christ, raise their children in a faith-filled environment, deepen their knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith, and fulfill their God-given purpose.
Our parish facilities have served us well, and today we are a thriving faith community of more than 4,000 households, blessed with dedicated lay leaders and vibrant ministries. As our parish has grown, we have faced challenges in accommodating the more than eighty ministries and organizations that seek space for meetings, activities, and fellowship. Scheduling events and functions has often been difficult due to limited space, which has also restricted our ability to establish new ministries and expand existing ones.
After extensive planning and collaboration, our parish leadership and expansion committee successfully oversaw the construction of the Parish Life Center. Thanks to the generosity of our parishioners, this project represented the first major expansion of our campus in nearly twenty years. This freestanding, two-story building is an investment in the spiritual vitality of our parish and strengthens our commitment to fostering faith, fellowship, and community.
The Parish Life Center includes assembly halls, multipurpose rooms, classrooms, a café, and a full commercial kitchen, all designed to support a wide variety of parish activities, ministries, programs, and fellowship opportunities. The facility was carefully planned and constructed to align with the long-term goals of our parish while supporting ongoing campus operations. The new center enables us to enhance and expand our ministries and programs, ensuring that Saint Brigid remains a vibrant and flourishing parish for generations to come, creating a lasting legacy for our children and grandchildren.
Continued support of the Building Fund will help provide for several important improvements across our campus, including upgrades to the Corbett Hall kitchen, enhancements to our computer and telephone systems, renovations to the Bride’s Room, new carpeting, pew refinishing, and parking lot resurfacing. These investments will ensure that our facilities remain welcoming, functional, and well-maintained for current and future generations of parishioners.
