Adoration will be cancelled from Sunday evening until Tuesday morning, at which time it will begin again immediately after the 9:00 AM Mass.
From Our Archbishop Hartmayer: “In light of the winter storm this weekend, I want to remind the faithful that if you are unable to safely get to a church to attend Mass, you are dispensed from the obligation. I ask that you pray along with a livestream of a Mass or read the scriptures for Sunday and prayerfully reflect on them if you cannot attend in person.”
Canon law states the Sunday obligation does not apply when it is unsafe to travel. Consider watching a live stream, meditating on the daily readings, or praying the Rosary as an alternative to a hazardous trip. Our prayers are with you this weekend as we brace for snow and ice!
