Edge is our middle school youth ministry program. Edge meets on Sunday nights from 6:15 pm – 8:15 pm (after the Teen Mass) in
Dixon Hall in our new Parish Life Center. EDGE is for all 6th, 7th and 8th graders. We begin our evening with a meal and each night includes activities, teaching, prayer and small group time. Small groups will be assigned according to gender and grade. We go on a yearly retreat every fall and have service opportunities throughout the year. We offer a few events in the summer as well. Middle School is an important time for our youth to further develop their faith and strengthen their relationship with Jesus. Edge Nights help to foster that faith and relationship. All middle schoolers are welcome to register – no matter what school they attend – public, private, Catholic or Home School.

Service Opportunities
We offer several opportunities for our kids to participate in service activities throughout the year. Typically, EDGE students are asked to help with Breakfast with Santa, Taste of Saint Brigid, Mom’s Group activities and the Lenten Fish Fry’s. Separate e-mails will go out to sign up for these opportunities if they are going to happen this year. We will also have some summer activities. The way to find out about these activities is to be registered by the end of May.
Looking ahead to Confirmation
The Archdiocese of Atlanta requires at least 2 years of Religious Education prior to entering the Confirmation Preparation Program. At Saint Brigid, this means that students should either
- Attend EDGE in 7th and 8th grade – or –
Attend Catholic School
