Acts, The Spread of the Kingdom

The Compelling Story of the First Christians

The Acts of the Apostles is the story of how a few Christians empowered by the Holy Spirit were chosen to bring Christ and the Good News to the ends of the earth.  They faced secular forces, internal strife, and hostile crowds, and despite all of this, they brought the kingdom of God to a broken world and the love of God to the hearts of men. Acts: The Spread of the Kingdom is a twenty-part Bible study that traces how the gospel witness spread outward in waves from Jerusalem and reveals how the seeds of Church structure and authority took root. It shows how the joys and struggles of the early Christians in living the life of Christ apply to us today.

Participants of Acts: The Spread of the Kingdom will meet Tuesday mornings, from 9:45 to 11:30 am from September to March.  An engaging video presentation is viewed followed by a time of lively group discussion and fellowship.  The cost is only $40.00 and includes the cost of materials.  Plus, each registrant gains online access to the videos, so you can view a session you miss or rewatch sessions.  For more information or to register for the study.  This study is facilitated by our Parochial Vicar, Fr. Michael Bremer.
