2022 Lenten Parish Mission


Come hear Fr. Carlos share stories of his experiences with Saint Mother Teresa and how we can all experience the loving embrace of the Father.

Two sessions daily, Monday and Tuesday, March 28th and 29th in the Sanctuary.

10:00 to 11:00 AM Morning session AND 7:00 to 8:00 PM Evening session.

Babysitting is available only for the morning session with a reservation at childcare@saintbrigid.org.

“Some people say, ‘oh, come on, you’re giving breakfast to all of these people who should be working,’ or ‘they’re on drugs,’ or ‘they’re working the streets at night.’ I don’t care,” said Father Gonzalez, who is also a doctor. “I’m not here to judge them. I’m here to show them God’s love.”
Father Carlos J. Gonzalez, a member of the Fraternal Society of Mercy, is heeding the call in the Diocese of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, at the Belen Community, which shelters and cares for homeless men and women who have mental illness, AIDS and cancer.
