Message of the Week

Holy Day – Mary, Mother of God, Monday, January 1

“From now on will all ages call me blessed” Luke 1:48
The Church’s devotion to the Blessed Virgin is intrinsic to Christian worship. From the most ancient times the Blessed Virgin has been honored with the title “Mother of God” to whose protection the faithful fly in all their dangers and needs. January 1, 2018 is the Octave Day of Christmas: Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God.  A holy day, but not a day of obligation this year. The Mass schedule for this Holy Day is:
Monday, January 1st at 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM. Monday morning Confession is canceled on this morning.
