The apostles were trying to find out if they would gain a higher place in heaven because of their position as followers of Jesus.
Jesus tells them that their position in heaven is only according to the will of the Father.
Our faith and position in this world are not to be used in bargaining for a position in heaven.
Jesus tells us that we are to be servants of all just as He has been the ultimate servant for us.
How can we best live out this message in our lives?
