The feeding of the multitude prefigured the institution of the Eucharist.
In today’s gospel, we hear of Jesus healing and speaking about the Kingdom of God.
The Eucharist is our healing and a route into our involvement in the Kingdom of God.
The Eucharist is the sustenance given to us to fulfill our mission as followers of Jesus.
Will we connect receiving the Eucharist and our mission as Christians?
