Bring the Joy of Christmas to families in Need. 200 Families still need sponsors
Adopt a Family/Christmas Connections For many years, Adopt- a- Family/ Christmas Connections has been a cherished tradition at Saint Brigid. In partnership with Catholic Charities, we provide gifts and support to nearly 285 underprivileged families from St. Anthony (Atlanta) and St. Bernadette (Cedartown). Each family has been carefully screened and identified as in dire need of your help.
Please consider participating in this rewarding ministry.
Respond by Sunday, November 22nd to make a difference this holiday season!
How to participate:
- Sign up to be a sponsor at Saintbrigid.org/Adopt-a-Family Event
- Select your family size preference (small 3-4 children) or (large 5 or more).
- Indicate if you would like to purchase a bike for a child (optional)
- You will receive a detailed wish list and instructions by email.
- Purchasing Guidelines:
- Provide 2-3 gifts per child.
- Provide one household item (as requested)
- Provide a food or gift card ($25.00 per family member; store designated)
- Estimated cost: $75 – $100 per family member, plus grocery gift cards
- Gift Drop-Off
- Date due THURSDAY, DECEMBER 3rd, 2026
- Time: Between 2:00 – 7:00 PM
- Location: Saint Brigid Parking Lot (follow the signs)
- Unable to shop? We will shop for a family on your behalf.
- You can donate securely online via our parish Online Giving or
- Submit a check to Saint Brigid with a note in the memo section for “Adopt-A-Family”
Volunteer Opportunity:
- Help load trucks on Thursday, December 3rd.
- Help unload and distribute gifts on Saturday, December 5th.
- Teens can earn service hours!
