What It Is

Renewed in Christ formerly known as Christ Renews His Parish (“CRHP”) and Welcome, is a two-day program designed to rediscover the presence of God in our lives and deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ.  The event includes the personal stories of 8 fellow parishioners about the profound impact Christ has had in their lives, each centered around specific themes.  You will have an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions on each theme in small groups, where you’ll be invited to share as much or as little as you feel inclined, without any pressure or expectation.

When It Is
Men’s Weekend:  August 3-4, 2024
Women’s Weekend:   August 10-11, 2024

The program starts on Saturday morning and concludes with a private Mass on Sunday, ending between 2:00 and 3:00 pm.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can attend?
Anyone over 21 years of age interested in enriching his or her life. To the extent we have more than 36 participants register, non-parishioners may initially be placed on a waiting list.

 Can I attend if I’ve already participated in CRHP or Welcome? 
Absolutely. In fact, if it’s been a few years, we highly encourage it, especially if you attended before the program was enhanced in 2017.

 How much does it cost?
There is no cost to participants. The program is hosted by parishioners and all costs are funded by donations.

What are the accommodations?
We stay overnight in the Church building.  

Why do I have to sleep overnight at the Church?  
Staying overnight is not absolutely mandatory but is highly recommended. This allows us to totally “unplug” and to truly absorb the experience.

What about meals?
A team of parishioners prepares all meals and there are several breaks where snacks and beverages are served. If you have any dietary restrictions, we can almost certainly accommodate your needs. 

What’s the dress code?
Casual attire is preferred.
