Women’s Day of Reflection
Saturday February 28th 9 AM – 12 PM – $ 15.00 fee upon entry
Register for this wonderful day!
Join us for a special Lenten Morning of Reflection led by our very own WOSB Spirituality Chair, Kim Biggs. Her talk, “Living the Stations of the Cross with Purpose and Joy,” promises to be both meaningful and inspiring. After being encouraged by many to share her heart and wisdom, Kim has prayerfully answered the Lord’s call to speak, and it is a morning you won’t want to miss. To know Kim is truly to love her, and her gifts continue to bless our community in countless ways. The morning will take place from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM and includes Mass at 9:00 AM followed by a light breakfast. The cost is $15. Come step away from the busyness of life, deepen your Lenten journey, and gather in faith with your WOSB sisters.

Playgroups
Are you a mom with a baby, toddler, or young child between the ages of 0-5 years? Playgroups are a wonderful opportunity for little ones to play together and moms to connect and grow in friendship with other Catholic mothers in the same season of life!
We currently have options for different weekly playgroups. If you’re interested in joining one of these playgroups, please reach out to Lauren Hoang, our St. Brigid Playgroup Coordinator, at laurenblair13@gmail.com.
Be on the lookout for special upcoming dates.
Volunteer Opportunities
Our annual Giving Tree is one of the most impactful ways we serve. In 2024, parishioners donated more than $12,000 in gifts and gift cards. WOSB was proud to sponsor this amazing initiative of gift giving, and look forward to continuing this beautiful tradition in 2025 for the Drake House and the Smasherson Foundation. Just grab a tag after Mass.
Supported ministries are:
The Drake House
The Drake House helps women and children overcome homelessness with dignity while keeping their families together. Through housing and empowerment programs, families work toward financial independence and stability. Graduates of The Drake House become productive members of the community—working, paying taxes, renting or buying homes, and inspiring others with their stories of resilience and success.
The Smasherson Foundation
The Smasherson Foundation was created in memory of Emerson Podojil, who bravely fought and sadly lost her battle with brain cancer in 2019. Inspired by her courage, Smasherson provides radiation countdown calendars to every child undergoing radiation treatment at Emory’s photon and proton cancer centers. The foundation also funds vital pediatric neuro-oncology research at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, supporting groundbreaking treatments and improved outcomes for children facing this devastating disease.

Caring Connection
This spring and summer, Caring Connection provided meals for two families in need—the Hendersons and the Fletchers—who were deeply touched by the support. Thank you to everyone who cooked and delivered meals! We also welcomed five new volunteers from the Ministry Fair.
