UPDATE – 11/22/2021 –  THANK YOU to all who have already signed up!
But, right now, we have 7 families left:
ONE 4-person family, FIVE  5-person families and ONE  9-person family

You can still help by sharing this ministry to a family member, friend, or co-worker. Recruit our next sponsor through your work, bible study, club group, sports team or post on Facebook.   If you haven’t had a chance to sponsor yet,  seize the moment and email Sharon or Matt & Lolita.

All gifts should be dropped off at the Saint Brigid parking lot on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 2nd, between 2:00 and 7:00 p.m.

If you would like to sponsor a 2 to 4 person family, please email Sharon Kinney:
If you would like a family with 5 or more members, please email Matt & Jolita McGee:

(Please estimate $50-$75 per child for gifts plus $25 per family member for the food gift card.)

We will respond with a wish list for the family, packing instructions, and a tax receipt.  THANK YOU!

In partnership with Catholic Charites,  the Adopt a Familyprogram…..

has consistently sponsored 400 underprivileged families each year!  Saint Brigid provides gifts for families from three parishes:  St. Anthony’s, located in Atlanta, St. Bernadette in Cedartown, and San Felipe, Forest Park.  With your help again this year, we look forward to providing a meaningful Christmas to hundreds of families!

All of the families taking part in the program have completed a need-based screening process administered by Catholic Charities. After qualifying, the head of each household completes a wish list of gift ideas.  We will email the wish list, along with other pertinent information, to you once you have contacted us with the family size you are interested in.

If any of your children need service hours, they can help load the trucks on drop-off day, Thursday, December 2nd. You may also join us on Saturday, Dec.4th to unload and distribute gifts at one of the receiving parishes mentioned above.    Thank you and God bless!
