Invite a friend or family member to bring their life back to Jesus at the Mass.  It doesn’t matter how long they have been away or the reason.  Now’s the time to encounter God in the special way He has designed for worship and thanksgiving. The Mass is where we come before God to take part in the miracle of the Eucharist and be strengthened by it to carry out our unique mission.

It doesn’t matter how long you may have been away or the reason.  Now’s the time to encounter God in the special way He has designed for YOU. The Mass is where we come before God to take part in the miracle of the Eucharist and be strengthened by it to carry out our unique mission.

Below are beautiful reminders of the faith, joy, hope, and thanksgiving we experience through the Mass, along with resources from Catholics Come Home.

  Faith

    • In the Mass, we come before our God in faith because the Lord says: “I am the Resurrection and the Life. I am the Living Bread come down from Heaven.  He who has seen Me has seen the Father.”
    • Through the joy of the Mass and a thankful heart, we realize that God becomes present to us in an intimate and real way.
    • The miracle happens when the bread and wine become the living Body and Blood of Jesus.  Take and eat: Jesus will become part of you, and you will become part of Him. If you are not at Mass, the miracle cannot happen to you.

Joy

    • You have been called not only to worship but also to carry out a unique mission in life.  God has a plan for you, a profound plan to participate in building His Kingdom.
    • Strengthened by Christ in the Eucharist, you are sent on your mission.  No one else can do what you have been sent to do. If you do not do it, it will not be done.

Hope

    • At the Mass you experience a special encounter between you and God; no one else can take your place.
    • You have the unique opportunity to hear Christ speak to you through His Word and in your heart.  Hear the story of how He came to you and what He wants to tell you. Tell Him your story and what is in your heart.
    • The Mass is God’s own way for you to worship and offer thanks. Do not miss the moment.

Thanksgiving

    • The Mass is the memorial of Jesus’ saving action by His offering His life, death, and resurrection for us.  It is the very meaning of gratitude.
    • Jesus takes us and our lives with Him as He offers His life, death, and resurrection to the Father.  If we are not there with Him, we do not share in thanksgiving.
    • Bring your life and ask Jesus to offer it up.
