BOOK STUDY WITH MONSIGNOR DAVID
“Each and every disciple of the Lord Jesus is called to a life of ongoing formation and renewal. One of the ways that I have been able to enter into this ongoing formation and renewal is through reading…reading great books. Beginning this fall, I will offer a book study club experience for all of you willing to read and study along with me. My first offering will be a study of the spiritual masterpiece by Ralph Martin, entitled The Fulfillment of All Desire: A Guidebook for the Journey to God Based on the Wisdom of the Saints. We will read the 2006 edition, published by Emmaus Road. This book is readily available at bookstores and through online services.
I hope that many of you will purchase the text and begin to read Professor Martin’s incredible guidebook. The first class study group meeting will be on the 15th of September, from 7 to 9 PM, in Corbett Hall. Please note the schedule of this offering and the assigned reading for each session. This is critically important to understand: your reading of the material before each session is the only way you will benefit from our time together. We will learn from the saints, as described by Professor Martin; and our discussion will be on the wisdom of the saints. I hope that you will join me.

12 January = a review plus Chapter Nine
