Monsignor Reynolds Charity Challenge – May 11, 2026
Each year, the Men of Saint Brigid host a multi-sport fundraiser. Registration opens in early January and the golf scramble portion of the event usually fills up in just a couple of weeks. It Takes a Parish
We feel so blessed to be able to host this event every year. The money raised will go to the ministries and charities we support. Their work never takes a break and the funds raised are always put to great use by the loyal and caring volunteers. Birdies for Charities – Introduced in 2025
The Birdies for Charities option allows scramble golfers to purchase on Birdies for Charities token each and guarantee their team a birdie score on any one hole they select. Donations – The Matching Fund
Coinciding with the Charity Challenge, the Men of Saint Brigid select one local ministry to benefit from donations made to the Matching Fund. The MRCC organizing committee generates matching pledges in advance of the Charity Challenge. These pledges become matching donations as other generous people contribute. Silent Auction – Online Shopping
The silent auction at the charity challenge opens mid-January and continues until event day, with more and more items and experiences being added all the time. Especially popular and the discounted gift cards available to dozens of local restaurants along with a gaggle of other gift ideas. Weather – Lightning Alerts
The Country Club of Roswell uses the Thor Guard Lightning Detection system. If the sirens go off, all golfers, tennis and pickleball players, sponsors, and volunteers must return to the clubhouse immediately. Play is suspended until further assessments can be made.
Weather – Postponements
Every effort will be made to complete all outdoor activities. The Charity Challenge Dinner and Evening Activities take place rain or shine. Should inclement weather cause a complete postponement of the Chairty Challenge, then a rain date will be announced. Please look for email notices about the rescheduled event.
