Please join us at our OCTOBER meeting, Monday, Oct. 12th at 6:30 PM in Corbett Hall
It will be held Monday evening October 12 at 6:30 PM in Corbett Hall. We are going to have a Chili party with all the fixings. Our hearty Beef Chili will be paired with Salad, Corn Bread Crisps and assorted ingredients that can take it from its normal and docile base to a 5 alarm fire. That will be up to each of you! Of course we’ll also have our signature dessert to cool you down if needed!
We have an exciting meeting planned. We’ll be launching our reimagined Christmas Tree Sales effort. We’ll be celebrating a great honor we recieved in recognition of our support for Saint Vincent de Paul and our support of Marillac Moms. And, we’ll hear from one of our own, Jerry Bush, our Facilities Manager for the entire Saint Brigid campus. Jerry does a lot around the parish; he truly knows every nook and cranny. He is a very active parishioner and ‘moonlights’ as a referee focusing on high stakes High School Football around the State. Come hear his story about how he ‘Get’s in the Game!’
Find your name badge, invite a friend and crush the ‘Easy Button’ on your emailed invitation. Fellowship starts at 6:30 PM with plenty of cold beverages, we’ll be serving dinner about 7:00 PM, the program starts at 7:30 PM and we plan to have you back in time for the 2nd Quarter of what should be a great MNF Game with my LA Rams hosting the Buffalo Bills! Set you DVR just in case and remember: first timers eat FREE and if you bring a first timer, your meal is free too!

Please add the following dates to your calendar – these are the dates of our next Men of Saint Brigid meetings:
Monday November 9, 2026, in Corbett Hall
Here are some ideas that you may want to consider as Faith Resolutions:
Thank you to the many of you who do these and more!
Become a Eucharistic Guardian – commit to an hour a week in the Adoration Chapel (best hour of my week!)
Consider becoming an EMOHC (Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion)
Consider being an Usher at your normal Mass.
Consider being a Greeter before Mass. Get there 15-20 minutes early and hand out song sheets while welcoming attendees.
Become an Outside Greeter, welcome those arriving to Mass while being a sentinel to the church property. A visible, loving presence for those at Mass and a soft deterrent for security.
Consider becoming a Lector – it is a special privilege to proclaim the Word.
Consider attending a daily Mass each week.
Commit to reading the daily scriptures.
Join the Knights of Columbus, or step up to the next degree!
Volunteer to help with one of the many ministries within the Saint Brigid community.
There is no shortage of opportunities to serve. The key is to get started and let the momentum take hold!

Pastoral Guards are requested for Service
All you need is your own tuxedo.
After discussions with Fr. Neil and John Revell, we want to provide a visual arm of support for Saint Brigid specific events. The Pastoral Guard, when requested by Fr. Neil, will include any/all Parishioners from Saint Brigid with a tuxedo and white gloves. The tuxedo will not include the KoC Social Baldric or lapel pin.
